Sorry to hear of your delay....hopefully it is limited to just the one member of your hsehold!! And that he is out the other side of it now!!

Thks Janice - c much better this am had 12 hrs sleep def not up for such a big trip. Will replay our plans that were due to have started yesterday again on Tues so will need to re-gear ourselves up tomorrow. Hopefully C improves today and starts being able to eat so Monday will be recharging energy levels. Keep everything crossed that rest of us stay clear!

Poor Connor - terrible start to your trip! What a disappointment for everyone. Hope he's ok now and you and Geoff have not caught whatever it was - or could it have been nervous excitement?

Hi Lyn - yep v sad to still be at home. C def got a bug - we did hope it was nervous excitement when it first happened but 12hrs later still going is more than that! Re-start on Tues as if it was Sat. Gran on her way. Jx

How disappointing but better than being on the plane with the bug! Saturday's newspaper had the W C Fields quote that makes me think of Geoff - 'Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.' Hope all improves soon.
The windows are still undergoing restoration, so it was amazing to compare the old, dark windowpanes to those that have been restored that showed us the most beautiful light we’d ever seen.
