This morning we went to the small market at Marmaris and brought fresh fruit and veges. So beautiful and fresh and colourful.
Connor chose a 1kg bag of cherry tomatoes that cost 3turkish lira a kg. That's about $1.50 for a kg and even at the height of our season we would pay $1.50 for a 250g tub. He scoffed a huge number of tomatoes and mini cucumbers for breakfast along with eggs and sujuck (spicy sausage) and melon, grapes and fresh figs. We ate a long leisurely breakfast on Claire's balcony.
What a fantastic experience to go out to the markets shop for fresh stuff come home and eat it for brunch.
